Aamir Safdar-Khan

Founder & Consultant Musculoskeletal Practitioner

Aamir founded Joint Pain Clinics to give patients fast, expert answers about their pain. He is an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist and a Diagnostic & Interventional Musculoskeletal Sonographer, which means he can scan your joint, explain exactly what is wrong and, if needed, treat it with an ultrasound-guided injection in the same appointment.

Alongside his private work, Aamir works in the NHS Rheumatology Department at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, where he performs a wide range of ultrasound scans and guided injections.

• 20+ years' experience as a physiotherapist, qualified in 2004
• NHS specialist in musculoskeletal ultrasound and injections
• MSc Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (University of East London)
• Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and joint & soft tissue injections
• Independent Prescriber (Coventry University), able to prescribe medicines
• Special interests: joint and soft tissue injections, sports injuries, acupuncture and orthopaedic rehabilitation
• Registered with the HCPC and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

M Tausif

Specialist Podiatrist

Tausif is a qualified podiatrist who specialises in problems affecting the foot and ankle. He sees patients at our Harborne clinic, helping people with painful heels, ankles, toes and feet get back on their feet and moving comfortably.

As a podiatrist with injection therapy training, he can assess how your foot and ankle are working and offer treatment options, including injections where appropriate.

• BSc (Hons) degree qualified podiatrist
• MRCPod: Member of the Royal College of Podiatry
• Injection therapy (IJT) qualified
• Helps with heel pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles pain, ankle injuries, toe joint pain and foot pain
